For this project I attemted to create two examples of pictorialism. I went to Double Peak Park to take photos for this project. For the first photo I attempted to make it look like a painting on a canvas. For the second image I attempted to give the feel of a still life oil painting. I chose to relate my photos to the letter from Elizabeth Murray from our book. I really like this letter because it is a good reminder to stay true to yourself and close to your roots. To me Double Peak Park is a place that helped me out when I first moved here and din't know many people, so just like the story Double Peak Park is a reminder of where I started and to stay true to who I am.
